We’re super proud to announce that Keen IO partnered with Runscope to add deeper analytics to Runscope Radar, their awesome tool for automated backend service testing and API monitoring.
Runscope Radar lets you build and schedule tests that verify your services are running properly and send you notifications if they’re not. These tests can be scheduled as often as every minute, so you can gather quite a lot of detailed data, if you’d like. And now, with Keen IO added to the mix, you can also get powerful custom analytics on the results of all of that testing.
Just how well are things working? How long are various processes taking? Keen IO makes it easy to collect, analyze, and visualize this sort of aggregate data, so you can start getting a bigger picture of how your APIs are functioning.
Connecting your Keen IO account with Runscope Radar is pretty straightforward — just pick a test in Runscope Radar, select the Integrations tab, and choose “Connect Keen IO.” Enter the Project ID and Write Key from your Keen IO account, and boom, all your Runscope Radar test results moving forward will now get added to a Keen IO project.
Once the data is flowing, you can use our Workbench or analysis API to start pulling data and running queries on it. You can also embed this data in your site or dashboards, creating status pages, for instance, or sharing data with your customers.
The Runscope Radar docs can get you up to speed in a jiffy, so why not give it a shot? With the one-two combo of Runscope Radar and Keen IO, you can get a better understanding of all the APIs you depend on most.
Keep us posted on how you use Runscope Radar and Keen IO together! And, as always, we’re here to help, if you have questions or need a hand with integration.
