Count

Return the total number of events found in a given collection.

Count Unique

Return the number of unique values for a given property.

Sum

Calculate the sum of all numeric values for a given property.

Average

Calculate the average of all numeric values for a given property.

Maximum

Return the maximum of all numeric values for a given property.

Minimum

Return the minimum of all numeric values for a given property.

Median

Calculate the median of all numeric values for a given property.

Percentile

Calculate a given percentile of all numeric values for a given property.

Select Unique

Return a list of all unique values found for a given property.

Standard Deviation

Funnels

Track the completion of sequences of events

Funnels help you understand conversion and engagement by counting the number of unique actors that complete a series of events. We call these "steps."

What is an "actor," you ask? That's a term we use to denote any nouns you identify within your event properties. An example of this may be user_id or device.id, but that's really up to you.

Our funnel capabilities include advanced features like inverse steps ("did not do"), optional steps, and can even return actor IDs for any step in the sequence.

Query Parameters

Our Compute API accepts several query parameters to help you dig deeper into your data.

Timeframe Specify absolute or relative periods of time over which to run analyses.
Interval Return results within a given interval of time, such as minutely, daily, or monthly.
Groups Sub-divide analysis results categorically, based on values for a given property.
Filters Refine the scope of events to be included in an analysis, based on property values.
Caching Speed up subsequent query response time by caching the results up front.

Note: Intervals and Groups are not supported by Funnels or Extractions.
